Media and Learning Labs
Two previously unused rooms were repurposed and renovated into creative spaces for content creation, planning, pedagogy, podcasting, and media production. The spaces are offered, free of charge, to all Mercer students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as to members of the community. The rooms are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment to meet the varying levels of need of practitioners.
The Learning Lab features a board room, video conferencing technology, and A/V connectivity for creative planning, small groups, student groups, classes, workshops, and hybrid gatherings. The Media Lab is for podcasting, social media, webinars, video production, and classroom instruction. The Learning Lab offers a physical gathering space to meet, while the Media Lab offers a virtual broadcast space.
