Rev. Dr. Greta Fowler
Adjunct Professor of Preaching
Rev. Dr. Greta Fowler is an Ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and pastors Gray’s Chapel AME Church in Adairsville, GA. Dr. Fowler graduated from McAfee School of Theology in 2014 and received the Claypool Award for Excellence in Preaching as well as the William and Nell Key Excellence in Leadership and McAfee School of Theology Community Ministry Awards.
Dr. Fowler currently serves as the Church School Superintendent of the Atlanta North Georgia Annual Conference of the Sixth Episcopal District in the AME Church and is on the Board of Visitors for McAfee. Previously, Dr. Fowler served on the Augusta Georgia Annual Conference Board of Examiners and was the Chairperson of the Augusta North District’s Finance Committee. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and volunteers with her son’s Boy Scout Troop as a merit badge instructor.
Reverend Fowler is a gifted preacher and teacher. She’s married to her college sweetheart and they have one son. As a family, they love to travel, but Dr. Fowler also enjoys writing and watching movies in her spare time. Her favorite scripture is 2 Corinthians 4: 7, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
