Amanda Coe Burton
Executive Assistant to the Dean
Amanda Coe Burton is the Executive Assistant to the Dean of McAfee School of Theology. She has work experience in marketing, student services, and ministry. Amanda spent 17 years on staff at Smoke Rise Baptist Church working in children and family ministries.
Amanda graduated from Rhodes College with a BA in Museum Studies and has taken seminary classes from McAfee, Pathways (UCC), and Candler at Emory.
Amanda was born in Macon, Georgia to parents who are both Mercer graduates. Amanda and her husband Alan, a network administrator for the CDC, have two children, two cats, and a dog.
