Megan Currie

Director of Admissions

Megan Currie is the Director of Admissions.  She earned a Master of Divinity from McAfee School of Theology in 2019 and a BA in Religion from Mars Hill University in 2016.  During her time as a student at McAfee, she worked as a graduate assistant in the office of Admissions and enjoyed serving on the Student Advocacy Leadership Team as well as the Diversity committee.  After seminary, Megan went on to recruit adult undergraduate students for Mercer University’s College of Professional Advancement for a year.  She transitioned to working in Admissions for the School of Theology in 2020.  Fueled from both professional and personal experience, Megan is passionate about ensuring every student feels supported and cared for as they pursue theological education and explore their callings to ministry.  Outside of Mercer, she serves bi-vocationally as the Minister of Virtual Connections at Joy Metropolitan Community Church in Orlando, FL.  She loves the Blue Ridge Mountains, will always say yes to an iced chai latte, and enjoys preaching when possible.  Megan and her partner are proud dog parents to their feisty dog, Ernie.
