The Pastoral Care Committee
of Your McAfee Alumni Board
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Mt. 11:28-30
Christ encourages us to carry one another’s burdens, persevere, love one another, and live a life of holiness with no fear. With that in mind, the Alumni Board has formed a pastoral care committee. This committee will take the work and ways of prayer discipline seriously while sojourning with those who need our prayer support.
The pastoral care committee invites you to give us the honor of praying for you on the needs, concerns, and demands that are impacting you as you strive to minister to others. We know the power of prayer is an internal journey to change, healing, reduced stress, seeking answers, renewing of the mind, and so much more than this invitation can capture. We hope the prayer ministry of the pastoral care team will be the beginning of bearing, sharing, and caring for one another through prayer. Prayer is our spiritual discipline and strength in days such as these.
Dean Greg DeLoach will receive your prayer requests and forward them to the people you identify in the form below. It is our hope that this will be a safe and generous place of care for colleagues and ministers in need of prayer support for themselves and those they serve. May God hear our prayers.
