Christian Social Ethics Track

The Christian Social Ethics track offers students a variety of courses that address issues of social ethics and the quest for justice as an aspect of the reign of God. Courses are drawn from a variety of fields including Christian ethics, evangelism and missions, theology, ministry, and biblical studies. The goal of this track is to prepare students for work in settings emphasizing analysis of and resistance to social evils as an aspect Christian witness and service in the world. Graduates of this track will be equipped to pursue a variety of callings including academic service in fields related to social ethics, church or parachurch social ministry efforts at various levels, and service in nongovernmental organizations.

*Choose either Hebrew Exegesis II (OTH 806) OR Greek Exegesis II (NTG 803) to satisfy core requirements. However, both courses may be taken. In that case, one course will satisfy core requirements and the other course will count towards elective credit.

There are 6 Total General Elective Hours required (2 courses) and 12 hours of approved courses relating to Christian Social Ethics, including but not limited to the following courses:
