Dr. Ron Grizzle began his ministry as Director of the Center for Teaching Churches at McAfee in February, 2010. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Grizzle also holds the Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO, and the Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC.
Prior to coming to McAfee, Grizzle served as pastor of churches in Missouri, South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia. He and his wife Penny are the parents of three adult daughters: Amy, who is Minister of Adults at South Main Baptist Church, Houston, TX; Ashley, who serves at Wieuca Road Baptist Church, Atlanta, GA; and Audrey, who is a pediatric oncology nurse at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, Atlanta, GA.
Ron and Penny are members of the First Baptist Church, Gainesville, GA.
