The Rev. Dr. Emmanuel McCall, Sr. has served as an Adjunct professor at the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University since its inception. Dr. McCall was the founding pastor of The Fellowship Group in East Point, GA and the former pastor of the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church from its founding March 31, 1991, to November 30, 2004. Previously he has served on the executive staff of the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention from May 6, 1968, until October 1991; a visiting faculty member at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and at theological seminaries in Ghana, Liberia and Nigeria, West Africa, and Emory University in Atlanta; vice president of the Baptist World Alliance; and moderator of the national Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Dr. McCall has written four books and contributed chapters in 34 others. He has written frequently for denominational and theological magazines and special publications. He is currently serving as Interim Pastor at the Historic Friendship Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia.
