Dr. David Hull served as a Baptist pastor from 1980 to 2014, with the last 28 years being spent at the First Baptist Churches in Laurens, SC, Knoxville, TN and Huntsville, AL. After twelve years in Huntsville he resigned from the pastorate when his wife, Jane, (McAfee grad in 2011) was called to be pastor of the Union Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Watkinsville, GA. He works with the Center for Teaching Churches at McAfee and teaches Leadership and Pastoral Preaching courses as Adjunct Professor. He is also the Southeast Coordinator for the Center for Healthy Churches where he consults with congregations in transition. Since leaving Huntsville, he has served as Interim Pastor for the First Baptist Churches in St. Petersburg, FL and Augusta, GA.

Dr. Hull is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he majored in Business Administration. He then received the M.Div., Th.M., and D.Min. degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

David and Jane Hull have two married children, Emily and Andrew, and three grandchildren.
