Cost to Attend
Compare the cost of theological education with costs at other seminaries and divinity schools and you will be surprised at the affordability of a McAfee education. Mercer University, supporting churches, and our educational partners are making a significant commitment to underwrite much of the cost of studying at the McAfee School of Theology. In fact, every student at McAfee receives significant financial assistance which brings down the tuition to well below the national average for ATS accredited schools. For Master’s students, the Mercer Theology Financial Assistance covers the majority of the student’s estimated, true tuition of $835 per credit hour. The master’s level tuition, after assistance is applied, is $330.00 per credit hour for Baptist students and $350.00 per credit hour for non-Baptists for 2012-13. The Doctor of Ministry tuition rate is $335.00 per credit hour for all students.
